I am ready for SPRING! I feel like winter has dragged on and on, and it still isn't over. I'm sick of the cloudy days, I'm tired of the snow, and I'm especially tired of Austin removing it from our apartment complex. I'm sick of the rain that keeps falling. I'm sick of the weird inversions.
I want blue skies and sunshine. I want to see green leaves on the trees and smell grass and flowers growing. I want to wear capris and flip flops! Oh, I would love to wear flip flops. I really miss playing tennis and I can't wait to hit a tennis ball again. Austin and I were so desperate to play tennis this past Saturday that we got all dressed to go, grabbed our rackets and balls and went to see if by chance the tennis courts were clear of the snow and dry. Mind you, it was 27 degrees outside (but the sun was shining that day, which gave us the illusion of a warm day). We drove all the way to the courts and they had eight inches of snow on them. :(
I want to go camping, I want to eat potato salad and smores. I want to lay on the grass and read a book. I want to walk outside and not be attacked by the cold air. I want to drive to Idaho or Bountiful without having to check the weather report. I want to take my puppy for walks everyday, not just the days that the walks are dry and it's not too cold for her tiny paws, which hardly happens.
I'm done with the cold, cloudy winter. I'm ready for the sunshine!

I hear ya on that one girl. That is exactly how I felt when we were in Logan. You should come here. We are in the 60 degree weather now. We have a tennis court in our apartment complex and 8 more at the park down the road. You guys would love it.
What is the Parker roll recipe? I have never heard of it. You should send me the recipe so I can try it.
I don't know how it was for you today, but SLC was GORGEOUS!!! Hooray for sun! I hope it was as lovely in Logan.
