Well, another year has passed on. I got to celebrate my birthday with my family earlier this month. The whole family got together at my parents and we played games, had a picnic, and then opened presents and had cake and ice cream.
On Tuesday, Austin and I celebrated. We went to the Olive Garden, which is one of my favorite places to eat. Then we went home and opened the gifts Austin got me. He was so excited to give me my presents, he even tried to get me to open them like five days before my birthday. I held off though :) Two of the things he got me were...... High School Musical 1 and 3. --- It happened. We now own HSM (except #2), and I'm proud of it. They're fun. Austin also got me a bunch of books. I'm very excited to read them.
Yesterday, we went with our friends to the Martin Harris Pageant in Clarkston, UT. This was so much fun!!! The pageant was well done and the information I learned was incredible. It really lets you know about Martin Harris and what he went through as one of the key people to help in bringing the church about. Martin Harris was buried in Clarkston, which I didn't know, so we had time to visit his grave and hear family members talk about him and his testimony.
Our friends moved far far away this summer, and they spent yesterday moving sort of back to Logan. I haven't seen them all summer, and hardly talked with them. I honestly didn't expect them to remember it was my birthday, and even if they did, they were busy moving and I sure didn't expect them to do anything. But they went above and beyond being great friends and made my day by dropping off a note and some candy. Thanks guys :D Can't wait for you to get all the way to Logan.
I had a great birthday surrounded by family and friends. You can't get much better than that!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY (belated of course, sorry bout that!) But I am ever so glad you had a happy birthday! And man, whenever you talk about Logan and how you live there, I always without fail think "I wish I lived there!" I freaking love Logan.
