Halloween is one of our favorite holidays. The last two years I have taken on the project of sewing our costumes. I've never had a sewing class - ever, so I'm basically cutting fabric and hoping that it will all come together. It's been frustrating to figure out, but very rewarding to see the finished product. In 2007 I was Mary Poppins and Austin was Bert. The chimney sweep was made by Austin, my hat was made by me, and my umbrella was ordered online. It was really fun to be Mary Poppins and Bert.
